Living My Best Life
Photographing children is interesting to say the least. They are moving targets and completely do their own thing. I may be especially challenging if the child isn’t very familiar with you. Little Donovan is generally very friendly and outgoing, but last week during our photo session, he decided to play it cool and coy. In spite of that, I was happy to capture some candid, cute moments with him and his parents for more than pleased with the results.
One of the most fulfilling experiences every year as a Rocket Mortgage team member is being a volunteer for Innovations for Learning / TutorMate Online Literacy Program. TutorMate is the nation’s preeminent online volunteer tutoring program, helping thousands of at-risk first grade students learn to read. Today was our End of Year Celebration where we met our students we’ve tutored online in reading during the school year. This is a wonderful opportunity and I am happy to complete my third year as a volunteer tutor. Below are some photos from today’s visit.
